Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathmatics, Quality, or TechnologyAdvanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Quality or Technology preferred8 - 10 years applicable Quality Engineering experienceAbility to obtain DoD Secret ClearanceDemonstrated successful experience leading quality engineering projects in DoD environmentASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) preferredDemonstrated experience with Quality Tools: RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action), FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control)Excellent leadership skills with an ability to operate in a multi-functional environmentExcellent interpersonal/communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including external contacts such as customers, suppliers, vendors, etc.Exceptional ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment, as a self-starter, with minimal supervision or directionThorough knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and AS9102 First Article ProcessStrong understanding of GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills to lead complex teams in root cause/corrective action investigationsIntense focus on continuous improvement across all functions and disciplinesExtensive experience with Nonconforming Material Control, Material Review Board, Change Control Board and corrective and preventive action processes in an aerospace environmentAdvanced understanding and application of SPC (Statistical Process Control)Excellent written/verbal presentation skillsOutstanding computer skills (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Access).Proven experience in the bid, proposal, cost estimating and Basis of Estimate (BOE) processesStrong understanding of the TRL (Technical Readiness Level) and MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) from pre-EMD (Engineering Manufacturing and Development) through FRP (Full Rate Production)
