Full-time Customer Service Representative needed in Novato, CA. This is as Temp to Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate would have some art supply background and or sales experience with excellent people skills and a positive outlook.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the correct department as well as help our customers.
- Ability to process orders that arrive from our web site, email, phone, EDI, or fax, and efficiently enter them into our system via the ten key # pad or uploads.
- Assist our outside Sales Reps with providing sale promotion information, sample requests and other issues that come up.
- Be assigned to manage key accounts doing inside sales to maximize their customer service experience and increase sales.
- Be able to set up new accounts, check credit references and filing paper work.
- Keep track of multiple discount structures, and be able to perform basic math to set up custom contracts.
- Solve shipping problems such as lost orders, over/short ships, damages, quality control issues, credits, and returns.
- Ability to coordinate with UPS, FedEx and other freight companies.
- Coordinate with purchasing, accounting, sales, marketing, and the warehouse to accomplish our common goal of selling art supplies.
