Bottling & Packaging Manager needed asap... growing wine organization. Keys to the position: Responsible for day-to-day bottling line activities including staff management and training working with winemaking for operational excellence. Directing bottling maintenance and leads to coordinate bottling resources to maintain safety, quality and schedule requirements. Acts as Swing Shift management representative with indirect oversight and responsibility for all other departments on site during shift (Cellar, Lab, Warehouse, Quality, etc.).
COMPETENCIES: • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all bottling operations• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and document workflow using sound mathematical skills when necessary• Demonstrated ability to allocate team resources and equipment to see that production tasks are performed in a timely, efficient, and safe manner• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to act as the safety champion for Swing Shift• Demonstrated proficiency in English - both written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:• Minimum of 5 years advanced experience in all phases of bottling operations• Minimum of 3 years’ management/supervisory experience• Computer proficiency in MS Office, email applications, and winery management systems (or other applicable experience)• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
